Elgin L. Hushbeck Jr.: author, engineer, small business owner, educator, lecturer, and family man. He wears many hats but there is a common thread throughout. Mr. Hushbeck is an Evangelical Christian of 25+ years.
Mr. Hushbeck’s background includes academic studies in religion, history, and engineering, culminating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, and Master’s degrees in both Christian Apologetics and an MBA/Technology Management.
Mr. Hushbeck has taught at Simon Greenleaf University, and more recently at the University of Phoenix, where for the last several years has taught, among other things, classes in critical thinking both to students, and to other faculty. He has lectured on both current affairs and apologetics in several states, and took part in a public debate sponsored by Simon Greenleaf University entitled 'Did Jesus Claim to be God?' (Mr. Hushbeck, of course, represented the Pro-side).
Henry E. Neufeld is president of Pacesetters Bible School, Inc. and editor of the Participatory Study Series from Energion Publications. He has BA and MA degrees in Biblical Languages, and uses his skills in Biblical studies to help lay people learn to understand the Bible better. He is also author of What’s in a Version? and study guides on Revelation and Hebrews, as well as co-author of When 3 to 8 Gather and I Want to Pray!.
Bob McKibben is pastor of Pine Forest United Methodist Church in Pensacola, Florida. He has his Doctor of Ministry degree from Emory University, and has been in ministry for more than twenty-two years. He writes from personal experience and conviction born of serious study of the Bible.
Jody has three children: Janet and her husband, Chris Lister, who are associate pastors at Heartland Fellowship Church in Dallas, TX, John Webb who is a pitcher for the Tampa Bay DevilRays and his wife, Megan, who live in Phoenix, AZ, and James Webb, who loved to lead praise and worship and his work in marching band. James is now home with Jesus after battling cancer for five years. Currently, Jody has three grandchildren: Alex, Anna, and Jaxon. There are also 'children of her heart': Amy and Aaron Bergh, Brett and Shauna Ralston, Erin and Kyle McClelland, and Geoffrey and Liz Lentz. Jody Neufeld shares and teaches from a heart changed by the healing power of God. "I have experienced rejection and abuse in my life and made poor decisions that have life-long consequences but God was faithful and merciful in waiting for me to turn to Him."
Dr. Alden Thompson is professor of Biblical Studies at Walla Walla College, College Place, WA. He has a PhD in Old Testament studies from the University of Edinburgh. He is also the author of Inspiration: Hard Questions, Honest Answers and numerous articles.
