Extreme Caution Indicated Regarded Messiah Tablet
I won’t make any direct comment of my own until I have had time to look at the text itself, but many scholars from a variety of perspectives are indicating that the text that is being interpreted to discuss a Messiah who rises after three days prior to the time of Jesus is extremely doubtful.
This could be taken in many ways. Some are arguing that it means Christianity was some kind of sequel, and thus less than unique, while others take it as a good indication that the applications of certain prophecies by Jesus and his disciples were already known in the 1st century CE.
