Many times I confuse my study time with the Lord and reading books about God with prayer. Prayer is a conversation with God that includes speaking and listening. Just as in any relationship, there is always more to be experienced if I am willing to put in the time and effort and willing to examine my priorities. God desires that my prayer life be a source of encouragement and strengthening.

When we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are registered for God's army. We can either come to God's school and learn how to fight HIS way - or we can just stand by and get SHOT! Those are our ONLY choices! The focus of this class is on GOD! Yes, we need to know our enemy but more importantly, we need to KNOW and TRUST our Commander-in-Chief!

Christian Principles: Building the Kingdom of God

I believe we in the Church and in Church leadership spend too much time teaching and preaching about 'doctrines' when we should be teaching and preaching and living our lives by God's principles. These principles are to BUILD the Kingdom of God, not tear it down or divide it! These principles can be seen from Old to New Testament and in the teachings of Jesus Christ. At the end of this class, the student should be left with loving God AND his neighbor more!

Counting the Cost

What is the cost of being a disciple of Jesus Christ? We will discuss the difference in being a 'believer' and being a 'disciple'. This class was birthed during a time in my walk with the Lord in which I had determined that the cost WAS too great! What are some of the hard questions that I asked God and what were His answers? Let us 'plug in' to the VICTORIOUS walk of Jesus Christ!
